5 Heart Quilts was founded to present fondness and comfort to babies in the form of a handmade quilt, and to use this process to promote consciousness, community service and social education.

We teach people of all ages to quilt, and through quilt-making we encourage youngsters to be more effective individuals.

The concept of patchwork, to make efficient or economical use of valuable woven textiles is known in various parts of the world. Applique is practiced for decorative purposes on clothing and home furnishings. Padded and quilted (stitched) garments are worn for warmth, geometric stitching patterns on linings can be construed as decorative, but most quilted garments were either worn as underwear or were covered with an outer layer of fashionable (and unquilted) silk.

We teach quilting, designing, do quilt – commissions. I help customers put together pleasing combination of colors. I make kits, custom kits, and original patterns. I have 1700 bolts of fabric. My shop is an old-fashioned full-service place, where customer service is our priority.
